Re: Electric for Force 70 HP 95

Hello TOTO.
I also have a 1995 70hp Force.
I have Quicksilver Commander 3000 controls with power tilt.

On the back of the ignition switch there are 6 terminals. They are labeled with letters, S-C-B-M-A-M.

Starting with the S terminal and going clockwise.

Connect the yellow/red stripe wire to the S terminal. This goes to the neutral start switch in the controls.

Connect the Yellow/black stripe wire from the engine wiring harness to the C terminal.

Connect the Red wire from the engine wiring harness to the B terminal. Also connect the red wire from the power trim switch to terminal B.

Connect the Black/Yellow stripe wire from the engine wiring harness to the M terminal. Also connect the Black/Yellow striped wire from the safety lanyard stop switch to the M terminal.

Connect the Purple wire from the engine wiring harness to the A terminal. Also connect the Purple wire that goes to the tachometer to terminal A.

Connect the Black wire from the engine wiring harness to the M terminal. Also connect the Black wire from the tachometer to terminal M.

I hope this helps you.
Feel free to ask any questions. I will try to answer them for you.

No, I'm not a member of the "club." :)

I hope Mercury/Force fixed that problem when they upgraded the ignition system.

My Great Great Grandfather immigrated from Germany, 120 years ago.

Take care or you engine, and good luck.
