Got this baby about 4 years ago and has run sweet. last time out it started and ran then quit while running. Fuel ok, no spark, changed plugs still no spark.
I'm trying to test the Unit & Coil assy ignition and anything else that might be the problem. I've got a meter but don't know the specks on what an ignition coil should be?
Any help in specks or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated:confused:
Thanks
Added: Found out the ohm on the pulsing coil should read between 12 - 18 ohms, it tested good. The unit coil (leading to the plug) runs around 1500 to 2300 ohms, tested good. The coil primary (under the flywheel) tested good. That leaves only the CDI unit?????
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks, Doug

Well, I changed the title. bought a new coil that I didn't need then the CDI unit, that finally gave me fire. Now it won't start.
Could somebody please post the specs for the plug gap and the air intake on the carb. (That's the only adjustable jet. Using about 2 and a half turns from all the way in.)
Thanks, Doug
