Electric Start on 1985 Johnson Evinrude 30hp

My electric start on my '85 or '87 (not certain) Johnson Evinrude 30hp. When I insert the key into the remote I have to really "Jiggle" the key around and then it starts...do I need to replace the entire remote or do you have any suggestions ?

Replace the switch.
