Electric trailer winch question

Hello, I'm looking for recommendations on a good electric trailer winch. My dad is now 77. His boat weighs 900 LBS plus gear. My mom told me the other day he is struggling to crank the boat back up on the trailer. What type should I get? Any pros or cons?
