Appears to be part of the warning alarm circuit. Should plug into a corresponding connector. Probably on port side near VRO but it's been awhile since I had the hood off one of those. Chase the wires, probably find it goes to the temp switch or a little black or grey box with the fuel line running to it, the fuel restriction sensor.
