electrolysis question

In have a 1977 omc 235 and I dont see any zinc sacraficers on the outdrive. Do they have any? If anyone knows let me know. Thanks in advance

on a old unit anodes were an accessory not built onto stern drive<br />if you have one it will be mounted on to the transom<br />if not the original part is obsolete (some dealers still have stock)<br />or buy a anode some were and adapt to your rig<br />p.s. is drive corroding?

You can always mount shaft zincs on your lift struts and a rudder zinc on the skeg.If you put a rudder zinc on the skeg,cut off the remaining part of the tighten bolt after it is tightened.Charlie

No its not corroding I was wondering because I have a mercruiser that has them. Thanks I will adapt one
