Hi, I am getting new/old boat ready for the season. It is a 1985 Formula 28pc. The electronics , to say the least are outdated. .......... I am looking for recomendations on what I need , ex. GPS. Budget is tight , so maybe some good used stuff.

Ayuh,... Ya boatin' on the Sound, or in the Big pond,..??

I'd think a Compass, 'n GPS at a minimum....

What'd ya got now,..?? the only thing out-dated, 'n obsolete is Loran,..
'n of course, a limited budget is Bad when lookin' at boat electronics...

'ell, My Wish list starts at what I paid for the Hull,...

I will be mostly on the Great South Bay, on Long Island. What I do have now is a Compass and Loran, I think a uhf radio. , already took loaran off.
