While the circuit, switch, relay, and general wiring information is very instructional, keep in mind that tutorial was "automotive" based. Scotchlocks for example should be avoided at any cost. Yes - they are used. They are no replacement for the various other methods of joining wires in the marine world. Avoiding crimping at all costs is another bit of mis-information. Both crimping and soldering will certainly re-ignite debate but again, both methods are better than Scotchlocks. So while informative, I think being auto-based, this is not appropriate as a sticky in this forum. Good info yes.
