empty fuel filter

I have a 96 Regal 4.3 GM engine with a Volvo Penta drive. Run engine for 1 hour or more and shut it off the fuel filter empties and I am unable to restart motor until I refill filter.

this is probally a stuck anti-syphon valve. this is located on the gas tank. follow the fuel line to the tank. remove the line. a 9/16 rench will remove the fitting. look in there then blow in it you should not be able to blow thru from the barbed end to the threaded end. do not want the tast of gas in your mouth all day? just replace it not that costly.
