My last real question is do i encase the stringers completly in glass than tab them onto the hull or do I bed them than glass right around them leaving the bottom side with just the pl? Have been able to get almost all of the info on rest of job here using the search function. So other noobs to site use it and read. Thanx again

You can do it either way. I prefer to glue the stringers in first then tab and wrap them to the hull. That way you are not handling them so much. It also insures that the stringers will cure straight. If you glass them on a bench before installing them, they could warp.

They DO warp when glassed, but they pull back the other way when you glass the other side. It ends up close enough not to be a problem, at the very least seal edges with resin.

I pre-glassed mine with 6 oz cloth and polyester,
they are 8 feet long 3/4inch ply x 20 inches height.
Makes final installation a lot easier.
My knees were gratefull.
Made me realise how much glassin weight gets added when I was lifting them into the boat.
