Engine Alignment Check

Got that done, as best I can, this evening. The tool would only go in an inch or less before adjustment, and was only showing marks on the bottom. I had to go 4.5-5.5 turns up on the front mount adjustment nuts. The rod goes in very easily now, but touches the coupler teeth hardest at the 8-9 o'clock position. I hope that's good enough.

I thought the splines on the driveshaft looked pretty good when I pulled the drive off last weekend, sharp edges and that, but I haven't cleaned it up yet. The drive did hang up partway out, I assume due to the misalignment.

If it will go all the way in with only 2 fingers, and come back out with only 2 fingers, your good

Did you push the bar in, smack it around with your hand in all direction (up/down/side to side), remove and do the test?
The smacking around recenters the bearing

It's all the way in before I know it after the adjustment. I didn't do the smacking, just twisted it around. I'll try that before I move on.
