engine alignment- replacing u-joint / bearing

Hello<br />Im not sure if I have to align the engine if I replace the u-joint. I dont know yet if I have to replace the gimbal bearing, will I have to align the engine then?<br />Regards<br />Affa

Affa you should not need to align the motor, but you should have the alignment checked, by using a alignment tool, before you re-install drive just as a precaution to catch any potential problems such as a sagging engine mount for example, But if you can't get alignment checked, a the least just make sure drive goes back on smoothly. if it does the chances are alignment is good.
