Engine alignment tool compatibility Merc vs Volvo

I need to buy one, but all I see on EBay is listed for Mercruiser and OMC.
I contacted the seller, and he said 'it should' but not 100% sure.

Does someone know if this tool will work?

I purchased a similar tool from ebay for my Volvo and it worked. I think they are universal.

Any chance one of you can give me the exact measurements of this tool. And either PM me or post them in a photo with the overall length the distance between each step and the diameter of each step.

Ayuh,..... They're all the same spec's,....

That's what I read in some internet posts, but when I look at some vendors, I think Sierra, they list different part numbers for different brands, and when Volvo is listed, they mention SX drive, but not Duoprop.

So I just want to be sure the Duoprop shares the same configuration as the SX or Merc.

the alignment tool is standard. so is the transom cut-out now as well.

Thanks for the specs I’ll make one before the next time I pull my drive. Im probably due for and adjustment haven’t checked it with the tool in 15 years.

its $30 on ebay, you cant buy the material for that.
