2006 Evinrude E-Tec 90hp. On two occasions recently, this motor bogged down and would only run about 1/10th speed, if that. This is the second time this has happened. On both occasions, I was travelling about 5-15 mph (sight-seeing) for about 10 -20 minutes. When I tried to take off and get on plane, the engine just bogged down. The first time, the engine corrected itself after a bit and ran like new. The second time, I shut the engine off while we fished for about 30 minutes. When I started it, it ran like new again. I added a bottle of HEET and filled the tank with fresh gas both times. Not sure what to expect when I get out on the water again. It appears to be flooding the plugs, maybe?
