I have a 1988 25hp Evinrude, I just tuned it up, new plugs, replaced the carb kit, adjusted throttle linkage etc.... I had a look inside the combustion chamber and there is some carbon build up. Not a lot, but enough to make me want to clean it. Whats the best way to get rid of this carbon, or should I just leave it as is?
Thanks

Re: Engine Carbon

Howdy, Springbok.

Go to FAQ and read about decarbing.

Do a search for "Decarb", get a cup of joe and settle in to read for a while.

Moving this to General Outboard

Good luck. :)
