Engine Cover "Doghouse" Insulation

I have read a number of posts regarding materials to use in sound insulation for doghouses.

Mine has (had) what seems to be just 1/2" thick fiberglass insulation lightly tacked to the interior of the cover but is mostly gone.

I am considering some type of acoustical egg-crate foam. It must be fire-retardant so I found this stuff.
Acoustic Foam 1-1/2" x 12" x 12" 2 Pieces UL 94 | 260-517

Or is there something I could pick up at Home Depot that would work?

Cost is a factor as I have looked at DynoMat but that is darn expensive.

I'd be concerned about exposed foam in an engine compartment breaking down and getting into places it shouldn't (i.e. carbs, etc). You'd be better off going with something that's a closed cell foam lined with a silver foil type material unfortunately, it all costs lots of $$

Thanks to all for suggestions and advice. May go with the stuff from Summit.
