Engine covers

Has anybody had any problems with operating their 2st outboard with a cover in place? You know the sort with an air intake opening, usually waterproof canvas and a draw string or elasticized lower skirt. Thanks all.

Find out where the air gets into the motor and make sure it isn't blocked. Otherwise you'll suffocate it.

Most outboards get their air from under the bottom pan, just above the clamp bracket.
