I splashed the boat today and manouvered it to a nearby dock when it stalled and wouldn't start back up. I have a 1996 Volvo Penta 5.7Gi fuel injected gas engine and was puzzled as that never happened to me before. I initially thought it was a fuel filter/seperator problem and changed both out but still wouldn't start. Then thought it was a bad fuel pump but finally found the breaker was tripped on the fuel pump. Just throwing this out as a learning experience. What would cause my breaker to trip? Is this a concern? Short somewhere?
