I have a 25 HP merc, around 1990ish. We were having trouble with the gas line losing prime during operation. Since then we have put on a new gas line and fittings as well as a new tank. The engine runs much better now; however, when running at WOT, it still loses fuel supply. It will run at high speed for 30 seconds or so, but then will die. Sometimes, I can save it by squeezing the prime ball before it dies. Does this sound like a carb issue? The fuel lines in the motor as well as the fuel filter all seem to be in good condition and sealed well.
