I have a 1999 21 foot Maxum the engine is a V8 (350 CID) with a two barrel. From time to time (perhaps two or three times a summer) it will cut out. The engine won't die but drops to an idle. all I need to do is pull up on the trottle and push down again and away I go.
I have done everything I know to do. I have reset the floats in the carburator, new plugs, wires, and Coil, tested check ball in fuel line.
During the last part of this summer I tried keeping the tank full. With the tank full, I didn't have any problems. I wonder if there could be some sort of vacuum forming in tank
Any input would be appreciated.
