Hello all,

I took my 1990 Larson out today, which has the 4.3 Mercrusier V6. Put it in the water and it started right up. Ran around the lake a few times no problem. We stopped to fish for about 30 minutes in one spot, but when I went to start it again it would not start. It would turn over like it was trying, but would not start. it finally started after about 20 min of trying. Got back to the boat ramp no problem running at cruising speed, but in trying to load it did not want to idle, it even just died on me. I got it home hooked up the muffs and tried again, again didn't want to start. Got it started again, but now as soon as you put it in neutral at regular idle it dies instantly. No idea where to start.
Thanks as always.

"but now as soon as you put it in neutral at regular idle it dies instantly"
As in shifing from F to N? lower shift cable corroded or damaged.
