2000 Mercury 9.9 bigfoot 4-stroke.
Engine continually dies on me, when I can get it to run, as long as I keep it at a high throttle, it will stay running, the minute I throttle down it stalls. I took the cover off when I did get it running and noticed gas coming shooting out all over the place from the areas circled in the picture. When I am cranking the engine, you can see gas in the water. Started noticing a problem with changing the throttle early this year, any change would cause a hesitation, then it would pick up or slow down as desired. Now it just floods and spills gas everywhere. Any suggestions?
