I'm having trouble with my port side engine. This is a 5.7 OMC King Cobra (cone clutch style.) The port engine will crank like a champ when cold, but doesn't sound like it's igniting. Compression is good, it has spark, and I just installed new plugs.
If I give it a shot of starter fluid, it starts right up and runs fine. I took it out for a couple hours today, ran it hard for a little bit, then when I slowed down to reenter the harbor it stalled. It refused to start. I took off the spark arrestor and noticed gas in two of the carb barrels. There was also some smoke, though I'm not sure where that was coming from. I'm guessing I have a fuel/carb issue. Any quick things I can try before I try to find a good mechanic? Here's a video while it refused to start after stalling
