I'VE PUT ALL NEW PLUGS POINTS CONDENCER ROTOR DIST CAP GAS LINE FILTER, I CHECKED THE CINTRIFICAL PART OF THE DISTRIBUOR THEY SEEM [FREE ETC] OTHER WISE THE ENGINE STARTS OK AND IF I PUT THE THROTTLE DOWN SLOWLY RUNS OK.

Re: ENGINE HESITATION

please dont use caps. you probally have a dirty carb. lack of acculator pump spray will cause what you are describing. remove the spark arrester with engine OFF. have someone throttle the boat, you should see 2 streams of fuel squirt into the bores solid and steady thru the advancment of the lever. bob

You also need to make sure the points are set correctly and the timing is set. AD could be right also. Its not a hard carb to take apart and clean
