Re: Engine ID

The engine is in a boat. Picked it up at an auction. Very good price, "where is, as is" Also, how do I find out what type of stern drive it has?

Re: Engine ID

The boat is a 1977 "Winner" Family Express" 24 foot, cabin (no flying bridge) Also, do you know where I can find a copy of the original layout (floorplan)

The engine is also 1977. The last of the 250hp, after that they were 260hp.

Chris..............

Luckypenny...I remember your previous post. Winner was manufactured by Thompson. Were you able to contact Thompson using the information I gave you in your other post? If not, have you tried Google??

Re: Engine ID

Yes, but not able to find any information on the boat itself. I was able to track down the engine (350 Chevy, 250HP, made in 1977) What I am looking for now is the original layout of the boat. The more I work on it the more modifications I am finding. Actually a lot of wasted space. I was hoping to find someone with a simular model that had pictures or a line drawing of the interior.
