hi not sure what this engine is ,it was bought as a 40hp mercury.the plate says MODEL J35 BAL CRR<br />SERIAL NUMBER B 016 500..OUTBOARD MARINE BELGIUM<br />can any one please help with any info thank you ...alan

IS THE MOTOR MAYBE AN ENGLAND AND YOUR IN BELGIUM

i live in england .the motor is a army green colour so probably ex forces and may not be a mercury
