Ok, well, pulled the motor (Mercruiser/GM 350), rebuilt it, dropped it back in. When I turn the key on (not turned to cranking) I hear a loud buzzer from the dash. Anyone have any ideas? I am assuming it is a wiring problem, but cant understand what it could be. Any ideas?

Jim

Re: Engine Installation

GG - My 4.3LX mercruiser has an alarm when the oil presssure is low and the key is set to run. It is intended to warn you when the oil pressure suddenly drops to zero. The sensor for it is behind the carb, and is disk shaped if memory serves me. The same alarm buzzer is used when the water temp is too high.
