I recently bought a 2001 four winns 170 le. I have taken it out a few times and it ran great until yesterday when I was heading back for the boat dock and it started to cut out and then died. I checked the battery, altanator connections and couldn't find anything loose and then I wiggled the kill switch and it fired back up but keept missing out. I did notice that the amp guage was jumping all over the place but if I keept wiggling the kill switch it stayed running. Is this just the kill switch or do I need to look at some thing else?
