Engine Makes noise at 10 knots

I own a 26ft. Starcraft with a 5.7L Mercruiser I/O, 250 HP, V8. lately, when I try to go over 10 knots, it makes a loud noise (almost like a motorcycle) and I have to bring back down under 10 knots. I changed the oil/water separator and it did not help.<br />Anyone knows what might be causing that?.<br />Thanks

Need Much More Info.....<br />What Kind of Noise ????<br />From Where in the boat ????<br />Have you Struck Bottom Lately ????<br />At What Trim Angle ????<br />Turning or Driving Straight ?????<br /><br /> "(almost like a motorcycle)" <br />Is that a 2-stroke Rice-Burner ???<br />Or a Harley ?????
