Is there anything that would trigger an engine sensor warning after changing the impeller and gear lube?

I have changed the impeller on my previous boat several times and never had any issues. I was wondering if this new engine had some sort of sensor that I may have messed up (or not reset or something)

The boat is not overheating And everything seems to be working fine. The smartcraft gauge only says engine sensor warning and does not let me do anything with it.

check your gear lube bottle float. if you didn't clean it out, they can stick down after a change.

I'm assuming the alarm your getting is a solid beep. If it is your lube bottle, there are 2 wires coming from it, with banana connector jacks. Disconnect either one or both and see if the alarm stop.

and check your level- after I added gear lube, where ever that sensor is it took a few minutes for it to cancel out the sendor and it will leak down and go off after you have done a gear lube change....just fill it back up and keep an eye on it- if that is the problem...

If the boat has been sitting unused for a while...goo chance it’s something else, like the old diz cap dampness issue. Usually happens on mpi after winter storage.
