Afternoon Everyone. I own a 1997 Sea Ray with a 4.3 Lt Mercruiser Engine with thunderbolt ignition. The engine is brand new out of the crate. While at the Marina the last couple of weeks. When I start it up it run for 30 seconds and shut off. It will start right up again instantly and run for 30 seconds. I can do this all day long. I drained the fuel tank and cleaned it out, put new High Test fuel back in, changed the water fuel separator filter, changed the inline fuel filter just before the carb. Still does the same thing. I checked all fuel fill lines for obstructions and there is none. vent pipe is clear. I'm at a loss here, any hints or advise would be great. Could it be a bad coil or something very minor?

You have a new Carbureted engine I presume? for a parts list, do you have your new engine serial number handy?

Maybe there's a problem with the oil pressure switch that powers up the fuel pump after the engine is relived from cranking mode.
