You would be better off using a 4.3 chevy, and having one of the Ford OMC coupler buttons remachined to use with the 4.3, unless you can fine the ultra rare 1985 4.3.
Marine exhaust for the buick are hard to find. OMC flywheel housings for the buick 3.8 are even harder to find. Remember, OMC went out of business over 2 decades ago
ok I think I will just remove the original engine 1982 3.8 chevy v6 and rebuild it any idea how many bell housing bolt are there and do I need to drop the starter to remove the engine I have a engine hoist that will pull the engine out of the boat I have a seloc manuel it doesnt show the bell housing bolt pattern and engine removal section is not very descriptive
got the motor out its on its way to the machine shop thanks for the help what should I check on the out drive while I am waitnig for the motor to come back
