Will a marine 350 engine fit on the o/d.
And what is involved to make the change.
I know how to r&r the engine.

Ayuh,... If the 225 motor is a V8 Chevy, it oughta bolt right up,....

If the 350 is newer than '86, yer gonna have issues findin' a coupler that'll work,....

your OMC 225 is a 350. its at 225 hp.

Ayuh,.... Still a SBC,... All the bolt holes are the Same, up to '86,....

another option is a new or used GM 290HP/350 Crate motor- they use the old pre-1986 crank bolt pattern

Ayuh,.... That ya need the pre-86, 2-pc. rear main seal block,...
