engine swapped -elec problems?

I had my 350 chev/merc swapped for a 302 ford/merc.
everything turned out fine, boat runs great,.
but, some gauages now dont work.fuel,temp,trim,
I have no meter to test wires, but, all wires look fine, as they did before,all gauages worked fine before,.
the plug for the wiring harness, plugged in fine,
could this be the harness itself is now wrong?
I hope to have a friend over sunday with a meter to test wires,but, I dont think that is the problem?
is it possible the wiring harness is not compatible?
from 350 chev to ford 302 if so, can it be made to work?

The Only Way to answer your Question is with Alot of Time,+ a Meter..............

Your going to have to Just trace things Out,+ See What's What...........

Not sure but sometimes sending units for some gages don't work for other companies and auto makers (Chevy, Ford) gages.
Or wires in their harness go to different points from the plug from one maker to another but I thought they were all the same.
