Engine Tank Oil Pump

I have a 1990 Yamaha outboard. The oil pump that draws oil from the remote tank to my engine tank does not shut off when it is full and overflows. Any suggestions. Motor also stalls at very low speed or idle.

test the switch in the engine tank as per the service manual. if the switch is good replace the module. if the carbs are swimming in oil it will cause some low speed problems.<br /> fix the oil problem first then change the plugs and retest<br /> good luck and keep posting
