Engine trouble Johnson Seahorse 4 HP

I have a Johnson Sea Horse 4 HP 2 cylinder outboard.Model: J4BRLCSS. Serial number: B023312.<br />Its probably from about 1973. It had not been running for 5 years when I got it.<br />I have changed the spark plugs and the cables,<br />the condensators, cleaned the gasoline tank, checked the gasoline opener and the air hole.<br />I have taken off the cylinder top and checked for carbon layers.<br />And it still wont start. Any idea what to do next except throwing it in the garbage pail?<br />Yours sincerely.

It is a 1980, NP.<br /><br />Go to www.outboardrepairs.com and look up "wont start". <br /><br />With the advice there and a manual you will have her running in no time.<br /><br />I will move this to Outboard Engine Questions.<br /><br />Good luck.
