So I have followed this link, followed every single step... get to the part where it says the starter is bad. Replaced the starter and does the same exact thing.

https://forums.iboats.com/forum/eng...hooting-your-engines-starting-system?t=167035

I have replaced:
starter,
slave solenoid
50amp circuit breaker

I can jump the slave solenoid and it starts, but then replaced with another solenoid and doesnt work but can jump it again.

What else could it be?

sounds like you're not getting ignition power to the slave solenoid, check with a voltmeter that when you turn the key to start, you're getting 12V at the small yellow/red wire at the bottom of the slave solenoid.

jumping the 2 large lugs spins the starter and the key does not? Take a jumper from the battery+ and touch the small yellow/red wire at the slave, motor should spin , Y ,then your not getting the power on the yelow/red wire from the key N, your missing the ground wire for the slave or you have a bad slave

If no power to slave from key to slave, check the neutral safety switch (follow yel/red wire)

I jumped the slave and it started right up... how can I test the neutral safety switch?

go to the control box, locate the 2 yellow wires , cut them away and spin them together for testing

Turn key to start and grab the shifter and move it slightly fwd/rev to see if it needs adjusting/replacing.

If no luck, use a voltmeter and place it on the yel/red wire on the key switch and see if you get 12V when the key is turned to start.

If 12V is found, check if 12V is found on the Small relay post on the slave relay (item c the bottom post) when key is turned to start (need 2 people)
