Hello! I own a 19' Glastron I/O with a 2003 Volvo Penta engine. Engine started in the driveway just fine. Put it in the water and when we gave it some gas the engine cut out. There is light brown milky liquid all over the engine compartment and seems to be leaking into the water out bilge pump. Im worried this is a problem with the head gasket? Anyone know anything I can do to confirm this or try a specific remedy? Thanks in advance!

You have a cracked block. No, it's not the head gasket, everyone always hopes that, but it never is.

Thanks, Don. Figured it was something very bad. This will hurt the wallet

It's also preventable with proper winterization.

Ya, you learn the hard way unfortunately. It was my dad's boat and me and my brother are new to boat maintenance. Next year we'll know what to do.
