engine wont start

After a long winter, i went to start my boat, and it wont turn over, Mercury 1999 o/b, 125 HP, 4 cylinder, i put new plugs, checked fuel filter, check carburators, all have fuel in it, engine will crank, but it wont start, i looks like the kill switch is on, but is not, dont know what else to do, any suggestions

Hi, Aldo.<br /><br />Have you checked for spark? Have you squirted fuel mix into the carbs?<br /><br />Go to www.outboardrepairs.com and look up wont start. Follow the advice there.<br /><br />If that doesn't solve your problem, come back and tell us what you did and what happened.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

I did all that, nothing happens, it looks like the kill switch is on, but is not, Somebody said it could be a piece call the modulator, has anybody heard of that before, according to him, this part gives the spark to fire the engine, can anybody help<br />thanks<br /><br />Aldo gomez
