Should be enough to plane. Skiing behind a 25' will quite a ride. It'll get you up for sure on 2, not sure about a slalom (not sure my knees could take that!).

Welcome aboard.

It'll plane easily, cruise around 30, and that Crownline will have a really nice ride. Pulling an inexperienced slalom skier up could be challenging for the skier, but wakeboarder might love those wakes. Those are big heavy deep V hulls and the 7.4 is well suited for it. I assume you want to do more than ski with it. Excellent weekend camping boat.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... I believe the baseline horsepower for the 7.4l is 330 hp....

I was thinking the 7.4l was higher than 300hp also. Which engine is it? They made them in a few configurations.

Is it a Bravo 3? If it is that would help out a lot with getting on plane and skiing.

The 7.4 is small on horsepower but big on torque...in my opinion yes it will push it up and it will preform well.
