Enrichment Valve-1997 Merc 225 Offshore

Could somebody please tell me what the top hose connection on the rear/aft side of the enrichment valve is supposed to connected to? The connection below it is connected to the bottom of the top carb and the 3 front/forward connections are each connected to one of the 3 carbs, but nothing is on the top/aft hose connection and fuel dribbles out of it when the engine is "choked". NOT A GOOD SITUATION.

If you are talking about a 225hp V6, the below attached thumbnail shows the way the enrichener is connected to the carbs.

and the 3 front/forward connections are each connected to one of the 3 carbs

I am not sure what your are describing here but perhaps you are talking about the hose coming from the thermal air valve.
