I have an OMC 5.7 800 series. The ESA module doesn't seem to be working. I did the troubleshooting test stated in the shop manual. My next step is verifying that the switch is truly connected, and that a previous owner didn't disconnect or bypass it. If so is there any proper way to eliminate the ESA module without doing any damage to the gears? Also if any one has any good wiring diagram of this system? And lastly a good place to get a replacement?
