I read the sticky on safety equipment for grinding and glassing and have already ordered a full face respirator and case of tyvek suits-I'm also going to set up my camp shower in the backyard near my work area so that I can rinse the dust off before removing the suit. What about the actual tools for gutting and glassing though? I think it might be useful to have a sticky of what the essentials are. I have a sawzall and an angle grinder which I'm sure I'll put to good use, but what kind of grinding wheel works best for fiberglass/rotted wood removal? Are there any other power/hand tools (the shop vac I have
) I should make sure I have on hand? I was thinking maybe a belt sander with a very aggressive grit might work well on smoothing some areas down/shaping plywood. Post up your list of tools you wouldn't start a rebuilt without!
