Estimated time for Volvo Penta SX Gimbal Bearing and Bellows replacement

I'm looking for someone who has replaced a Volvo Penta SX drive gimbal bearing and bellows that can tell me what a reasonable labor hours would be. I'm not able to do this myself and have a dockside service coming out, They have been vague on the estimate as their may be unexpected circumstances that arise but I know what their labor is and they are saying not to exceed X $$ so I'm looking for some advice. Thanks

Well, absolute worst case an hour to remove the outdrive, an hour to remove and re-install the gimbal bearing, and another hour and a half to install the new bellows, alignment, and re-install the drive. Assuming no issues with alignment of the engine, getting the drive off, etc....say 4 hours? It took me about that last year and I didn't know what the heck I was doing so a professional should get it knocked right out.

I can do an sx-m in 1.5, an sx-a is about 2.5.

SX-A: It took me forever to remove the grease seal which wasn't even necessary. Besides that, I'd guess 2-3 hrs and it was my first time replacing a bearing so probably less for someone who has done it a few times.

Thanks for the responses. I looked for and found another service guy. He'll replace the gimbal and bellows as well as the raw water pump and under 3 hours at half the hourly rate!! Sometimes you just need some additional advice to get to the right decision. Again, Thanks all.
