Re: Evenrude Trolling Mototr ID

Does it have 2 or 3 wires coming from the unit to the plug? If 3, Black would be ground, red 12 volts and orange 24 volts. If 2 wires, it's 12 volt.

Re: Evenrude Trolling Mototr ID

Greeting all,

along the lines of this post... i have inherited a 88' stratos 201 pro. The scout trolling motor had a DPDT switch that says RUN and CHARGE then a center position of something, maybe OFF, that fed a three prong socket that the motor plugged into. There are two sets of red and black wires coming from two batteries in the back. Can anyone tell me how this thing is supposed to be wired? Thanks, Kevin
