ok so i changed the impeller and the t/state and it still getting hot.one thing i notice the water on the pee hole is strong but when engine is running on water hose the stream gets stronger and then softer is this normal.also i live in florida everyone tells me to just take the t/states off and leave them off.it dont get hot this way.is this ok

OK..I will contribute here...
I have the same motor. I have also had overheating problems, UNTIL I DITCHED THE MUFFS, and started running it in a tank.
Seriously. I think the muffs introduce air into the incoming water stream, and makes air bubbles in the top of the block.

I live in FL also, and I have heard just take the thermos out...but I don't agree. I run mine with the thermos.

Sorry, I have been on vacation...
Here it is...mine only overheated when on the muffs.
As I said....you gotta run it in a tank to simulate it being in the lake/river the best.
I am sure I was getting air in the cooling system from the muffs. It would cause your symptoms.
