I was playing in the garage today and when i put everything back i realized that i am lucky to have the toys i do.

73' rude 50hp lark
57' rude 35hp lark
60' rude 5.5hp fisherman
48' Champion 4.2hp
56' Merc 7.5hp keikafer rocket
55' scott atwater 16ho bail-o-matic

74' yamaha 650 electric Motorcycle

3 snow blowers
yeah thats all crammed into this little spot in the garage.

I took a pic to make it last longer hahaha..

The 73' lark, and 5.5 fisherman run so far but im still playing with the other ones...the 35 lark has not been run in 10 years...we never got the lines for the tank and still havn't....i want to get it going an on an old lynman or other wooden boat...

I often stop and just look around at all of the things which make our lives more enjoyable. Things we happened upon or things we worked our butts to aquire. More often then not I am attacked for my decisions, but all I have to do is sit back in my screen porch, sip a beer or two with the wife and love the life those decisions have brought me.

Sure, I still complain at times, and there are different or better things I would like before I die, but there is plenty of time for that and I plan to enjoy what I have until that day comes. Who knows, it may never come, but at least I won't have wasted the wait.

i like that....its true about stumbled upon....i have only paid for one of my toys...all others given to me for work or just cause....i found the running ariens smowblower near the dumpster at a storage unit lot.

I have a few toys but not as many as you have. Accumulated over the years, and sometimes it seems like there is never enough time to do it all. Story of my life.

This says a lot. I used to travel all over the Caribbean, and although it may seem glamorous I always looked forward to coming home.
Our lives are what we make of them. An attitude of gratitude will go a long way. Being thankful for good health, family and basic necessities helps me appreciate those material things that I acquire.
I have yet to see a u-haul full of possessions being towed by the hearse to our final resting place.....nothing you now own will ever go to the grave with you.

If it was still running when you found it then they probably weren't finished using it.

Funny, I was just thinking about how truly blessed I am. I don't see how I deserve the life I live. Wonderful wife of 16 yrs (next month), two good boys that know everything, lol (8 & 13), great parents and brothers, couple of fine pointer bird dogs, finally got an o/u 20ga., 25 year old 14' Lund and a reliable push mower.

I never imagined I would have the incredible wife, and awesome family I have.
Both my parents are still alive, and I have many cool nephews and nieces.

I also never figured I'd have a 30'x38' polebarn with the problem of not being able to fit all my toys.
Where do I put my boat?
