Ever had one of those days??? Rant!

Every had a period of time in your life where everything you touch turns to Sh*t. It seems that everything I have done over the last few weeks has gone to H*ll in one way or the other. If it can go wrong it does. If it can leak it does. If it can run bad it will. Vehicles that ran fine yesterday wont even start today for no apparent reason. <br /><br />Hey, Im a pretty good mechanic but you would never know it lately. (Murphy is busy)!<br /><br />Not to mention that I have had the flu. Right before Christmas so I missed work so money is tight. Finally had to put tires on the truck, wife wrecked the car a few months back and that cost us. Insurence is due on the house and the vehicles. Everything seems to be a bit overwelming.<br /><br />I know it will all pass, but things are sure tough right now. Bah Humbug!!!<br /><br />Ya, Ill have a little whine with my lunch today!!!

It seems like everytime I get to working on some project there is always some unexpected crap that happens to delay me. I guess that is why I have to work on whatever it is anyway. Usually more than one thing wrong with the darn thing Itrying to fix.<br /><br />All you can do is try to work through it and keep your sense of humor.

I had a day like that. It lasted from sept.18 2000<br />till Dec. 8 2004. I know where your comming from.Itll get better.

Remember, for everything that could go wrong and has.....there are hundreds of things that haven't gone wrong. Going through a rough time myself right now, while things sometimes seam bad, think about how worse they could be. <br />Last week, while at the shop working on a boat, and having real problems with what should have been an easy fix, the cell phone rings.....my 16 year old son was a passenger in an auto accident. Suddenly everything that was so important just 30 secounds ago was nothing. At the hospital, while his cuts and bruises seam like a real problem (he is fine) one of the other kids dads tells me what the wrecked car looked like....in his words " our sons are soo lucky they are even alive...the passenger and drivers doors are touching each other". Once again, I had to re-evaluate the problems at hand and think of what could have happened. An hour before, I was worried about bills and not having a boat done when it should have been done. Not the greatest night I've had lately, but I still think that I have it easy, and I know I am fortunate. Whatever problems you are having , you will get through, and if you really think about it, things could be much worse.

Well, things seem to be looking up, worked through most of the problems, Christmas is over, Didnt use the credit card. Got a nice christmas bonus that helped, didnt even expect one.<br /><br />Figured out the problems on the cars I was working on this week.<br /><br />Installing a stereo and CD changer today and things are going well.<br /><br />Thanks for the support.

And you're far from alone, LD! We have all been there, or are there now. What you are experiencing happens to everyone, to one degree or another. <br />I could tell you about the kids, the house repairs after hurricane Wilma, the accident my wife got into, and lots of torment from my aging body. I could tell you about how much my new job has turned into a nightmare. But it won't help you.<br /><br />I can, however, give you one chunk of advice. Seek-out God wherever you can find him, whether it is in an actual church, or alone,out in the middle of a large body of water, anchored and fishing. Talk to God, and ask for a bit of help -- if not with the problems, with the strength to deal with them all.<br />He comes-thru for me daily, and even when i think i can take no more.

Well, I may not be the poster child Christian, but we never said we were perfect. If it were not for my faith, I would have called it quits a log time ago. The enemy sure works overtime sometimes!

Dang, I spoke too soon!<br /><br />Got all the wireing done, everything worked great, wrapped everything up and slide in for the final and now everything is dead. I have checked everything you can imagine, Still have power in, ground is still good, fuses etc, dead, just plain dead!!!!!!!
