Hey maybe it's a good sign Everglades boats is hiring.

Doesn't seem like their being straight up and bringing back all those people they laid off, but it's something.

After Everglades and Boston Whaler shut down the job market has been real bad here, lots of people who thought they had real good jobs have been trying to survive.

that is great to hear. when i was soliciting, door prizes for the 2009 camp out, i sent out request to all the FL manufacturers, 50 % were returned with no forward address..

Good to see people getting back to work. Made a rare trip off the island yesterday. Noticed the lots that use to sell new boats have switched to used boats on consignment. They are chocked full, anything you want. Going to be tough selling new up against all the used inventory out there.
Bit off subject, also passed two large strip malls, two health clubs and a multi story new building, all vacant. SATURN dealer is now a used car lot. Dont see the recovery that the govt. talks about starting down here yet. Going to be awhile for things to play themselves out. FRED

GM pulled the plug on the Saturn line hence the used car lot.

Things do not appear to be recovering here in Wyoming yet but we are historically the last to feel a recession and the last to recover.

Certain used boats are still selling well here, most of the new big ticket ones aren't.
