I have my pontoon out of storage and hooked up the ear muffs with water to the intake of my 35hp outboard. I do not see any water coming out by the propeller shaft like on my neighbors inboard/outboard. Should I be concerned, is this normal?
If the pump's working then water must come out. Let it run long enough for the thermostat to open (ca. 5 min.) but keep your hand on it to be sure it doesn't overheat.
